What documents are required for a self-drive car rental?
For individuals, please prepare 3 required documents as follows:
- ID Card (Original)
- Driver’s License (Not expired)
- Credit Card (For rental payment and security deposit)
Note: If you do not have a credit card, you can use other income documents such as a salary slip (latest month) along with a bank statement, or round-trip flight tickets (in case of traveling from other provinces) as a substitute, subject to the company’s terms and conditions.
Does the car rental price include insurance, and what is the coverage?
The car rental price on the website already includes Third-party insurance (Basic Insurance), which covers damage to the life and property of third parties. In the event of an accident, the renter is responsible for the actual deductible, not exceeding the specified limit. If you require additional coverage, you can purchase supplemental insurance (SCDW) to waive the deductible.
What are the terms and conditions for deposit payment and refund?
The renter must provide a security deposit on the date of vehicle pickup (the amount depends on the rented car model, starting from 5,000 – 20,000 Baht). The company has a fast deposit refund policy as follows:
- In case of bank transfer: The company will transfer the refund within 24 hours after the car is returned and the condition has been inspected.
- In case of credit card: This will be a pre-authorization cancellation, which will be returned to the card within 15-30 days, depending on the billing cycle of the issuing bank.
Can the car be driven to other provinces, and is there a mileage limit?
You can use the rental car in all provinces throughout Thailand with unlimited mileage (Unlimited Mileage) for daily rentals, allowing you to travel freely, but taking the vehicle outside the Kingdom of Thailand is not permitted under any circumstances.
Is there a car pick-up and drop-off service available off-site or at the airport?
The company provides vehicle delivery and return services at convenient meeting points as follows:
- Free Pick-up Points: Don Mueang Airport (Terminal 2), Suvarnabhumi Airport (Level 4, Gate 8), and Nonthaburi Head Office
- On-site Service (Delivery): Vehicle delivery service to your home or office in Bangkok and its vicinity. Service fees start based on actual distance. Please provide your location to our staff for a price estimate in advance.
What is the policy regarding fuel and electric vehicle (EV) charging?
The company uses a “Full-to-Full” (Full-to-Full Policy) system. We will fill the fuel or charge the battery to full before delivering the vehicle, and we kindly request the renter to refill it to full on the return date. If the fuel level is not full, a refueling service fee plus an administrative charge will be applied as specified by the company.
What should I do if I want to change my travel dates or cancel my booking?
If you wish to change your booking details, please contact our staff at least 24-48 hours in advance to check vehicle availability. The cancellation and deposit refund policy will be subject to the terms and conditions specified in the rental agreement and the timing of your cancellation notice.
Will there be additional charges for late returns?
The company offers a 1-hour grace period for car returns. If the return exceeds this time, an hourly late fee will be charged (depending on the car model). If the return is delayed by more than 4-6 hours (subject to contract terms), the system will automatically charge for an additional day’s rental.
