Can a 7-seater car really seat 7 people?
It depends on the car model.
- Toyota Innova / Alphard: Designed to truly accommodate 7 people; adults can sit in the 3rd row without feeling cramped.
- Toyota Fortuner: is a 5+2 seater. The 3rd-row seats are suitable for children or people with a smaller build. For long-distance travel, we recommend 5-6 passengers for maximum comfort and to leave space for luggage.
Is it hard to drive a large rental car like this?
For those familiar with sedans, you may need to adjust to the height and distance estimation slightly at first. However, our newer models like the Fortuner and Innova feature lightweight power steering that is easy to control, along with sensors and a rearview camera, making parking and city driving easier than you might think.
How is the fuel consumption?
Our 7-seater vehicles are powered by common rail diesel engines (2.4 – 2.8 liters), which feature excellent torque and fuel efficiency for long-distance driving. The average fuel consumption is 11-14 km/liter (depending on traffic conditions and driving habits), which is considered very cost-effective when traveling with several people.
What type of driver's license is required?
You can use a regular private car driver’s license (sedan) as usual. Since it is legally classified as a passenger vehicle with no more than 7 seats, no additional types of driver’s licenses are required.
How much is the deposit for a 7-seater car?
The security deposit starts at 10,000 – 20,000 Baht, depending on the car model selected (Compact MPV deposit is lower than SUV), and will be fully refunded upon the return of the vehicle.
