2.Wat Chedi Hoi

Excavations within the temple area revealed a massive quantity of millions-of-years-old giant oyster fossils. Luang Pho Thong Klung subsequently used these ancient shells to construct pagodas at the front entrance and inside the temple. The enormous volume of underground giant oyster shells, dating back thousands of years and used to build the pagoda, is the origin of the name  (Wat Chedi Hoi). It was established in 1995 by Phra Khru Sunthon Khun Thada, also known as Luang Pho Thong Klung Suntharo. After embarking on a ascetic pilgrimage (dhutanga) to Myanmar and studying under Phra Achan Silabanta for one Buddhist Lent, where he mastered magical arts, he journeyed back to the Ong Chuk Cave in Si Sawat District, Kanchanaburi Province. While there, he experienced a divine vision revealing that the current location of Wat Chedi Hoi was, 8 million years ago…

3. Wat Panyanantaram

Wat Panyanantaram originally stood on land owned by Mr. Pichit and Mrs. Jamrat Thongsimuang. Later, in 1985, they donated 6 rai of land to the Buddhist clergy, with Phra Chaloem Papassaro accepting it and establishing the “San Tao Monastic Residence.” Subsequently, the residence went without resident monks for a period of time, prompting Mrs. Boonsong Pothichan to coordinate and jointly donate this land and monastic residence to Phra Thep Wisutthimethi (Luang Pho Panyananda), the chairman of the Center for the Propagation of Buddhism at Wat Cholprathan Rangsarit (established for the 80th anniversary of Panyananda), on December 29, 1992. It was officially authorized to be established as a temple named Wat Panyanantaram on January 31, 1994, and received its royal boundary marker (Wisungkhamasima) on May 2, 2002.

4. Wat Pa Khlong 11

In 1988, Mr. Kampon and Mrs. Tipawan Rujiaporn had the intention to establish a vipassana meditation center for practitioners. Later, in late 1993, Mr. Kampon passed away from lung cancer. Mrs. Tipawan and her children carried on the mission by delegating their eldest daughter, Ms. Orasa Rujiaporn, to meet with Mr. Chai Wiwatpiyawong with the request for him to help build (Wat Pa Khlong 11). Afterward, they invited Phra Chokchai Issaratejo, who was residing at Wat Phaeng Ma in Wang Nam Khiao Subdistrict, to survey the land. Receiving a 16-rai plot of land, Mr. Chai and his committee then planned to raise funds from benevolent donors and organized a construction team.

5. Wat Bot

Wat Bot, also known as Wat Bot Luang Pho To Ong Yai, is a legally recognized temple under the Dhammayuttika Nikaya Buddhist order, situated along the Chao Phraya River in Moo 1, Ban Thai Dong, Tambon Bang Krabue, Sam Khok District, Pathum Thani Province, covering an area of over 30 rai. Established in 1827, the temple received its royal boundary marker (Wisungkhamasima) on February 13, 1953. Its prominent highlight is the large statue of Somdet Phra Phutthachan (To Phrom Rangsi) in the posture of delivering a sermon.

6. Wat San Chao / Sian Pae Rong Si

Wat San Chao is a local temple belonging to the Maha Nikaya Buddhist order, located in Moo 3, Ban Makham, Tambon Ban Klang, Mueang Pathum Thani District, Pathum Thani Province, bordering Wat Makham, the Chao Phraya River, and Khlong Chiang Rak.

7.Wat Sing

Situated on the western bank of the Chao Phraya River, it can be accessed via the Pathum Thani–Sam Khok Road for about 3 kilometers, where a right turn leads to the temple. Another renowned archaeological and historical study site is  (Wat Sing), an ancient temple housing Luang Pho To—a lacquered and gold-leafed stucco Buddha image in the subduing Mara posture, measuring 3 sok and 3 niw wide and 5 sok tall, built during the Ayutthaya period and widely revered by visitors. Additionally, the temple features the principal Buddha image in the ordination hall along with three U-Thong Buddha images created over 300 years ago, a reclining Buddha (Luang Pho Phet) made of lacquered and gold-leafed stucco, a red sandstone Buddha image named Luang Pho Dam, the funerary urn containing the ashes of Pho Phraya Krai (a Mon monk who went on a dhutanga pilgrimage and resided at Wat Sing), exquisitely crafted decorative sculptures, and five twelve-cornered indented pagodas in front of the ordination hall.

8. Wat Don Yai

wat don yai is a local temple belonging to the Maha Nikaya Buddhist order, located in Moo 9, Ban Khlong Soi Thi 8, Tambon Lam Luk Ka, Amphoe Lam Luk Ka, Pathum Thani Province, covering an area of 20 rai and 28 square wah. The temple grounds are low-lying plains surrounded by rice paddies. Wat Don Yai was initially established in 1910 when Luang Yothananthaban and his wife, Mrs. Sa-at, donated approximately 13 rai of rice fields. Later, Mrs. Phoem donated an additional 12 rai of rice fields. Locals commonly refer to the temple as Wat Klang Khlong Paet.

9. Talat Ing Nam Sam Khok

17. Wat Si Samosorn

(Wat Si Samosorn) is a rat-sangkat Buddhist temple belonging to the Maha Nikaya sect, located in Tambon Bueng Bon, Amphoe Nong Suea, Pathum Thani Province, with temple grounds covering 17 rai, 3 ngan, and 1 square wah.

The temple was established in 1897 through land donated by Ta Sri and Yai Sot, who initiated its construction and combined their names to name the temple. In the past, the temple site was overgrown wilderness densely populated with Phrue (sedge) and Bon (taro) plants. Later, as people migrated from Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya and Thanyaburi to clear the land and build homes into a community, the temple was officially granted Wisung Kham Sima (royal land demarcation for a temple) on May 27, 1988. Currently, Wat Si Samosorn is led by Phra Khru Sirithermanusit (Manee Thanyathino) as the abbot.

19. Wat Sai Mai

(Wat Sai Mai) is a rat-sangkat Buddhist temple belonging to the Maha Nikaya sect, located in Moo 3, Tambon Khu Khot, Amphoe Lam Luk Ka, Pathum Thani Province. The temple grounds cover 14 rai, 1 ngan, and 99 square wah, with an additional 30 rai of monastic property (thorani song).

Wat Sai Mai was established in 1898. The land was donated by M.R. Yai Noi and M.L. Num, who contributed 7 rai and 35 square wah. Later, in 1971, the temple purchased additional land to expand its boundaries by another 7 rai and 12 square wah. It was granted Wisung Kham Sima (royal land demarcation for a temple) on September 8, 1955.

21. Holy Family Church, Lam Sai

During the leadership of Bishop Louis Vey over the Mission of Siam, the Catholic population grew, particularly among Chinese immigrants who relocated to Siam. Additionally, a significant number of Catholics migrated to provincial towns across Siam to pursue livelihoods, with some families living far from churches and thus lacking access to religious services. Consequently, in 1896, Father Étienne Barthélemy Désalles, the pastor of (Holy Rosary Church, Kalawar), initiated plans to establish a Christian community, as recorded in the annual report of the Mission of Siam in 1898.

23.Wat Prachum Rat

(Wat Prachum Rat) is located in Moo 11, Ban Pak Khlong Hok, Lam Luk Ka Road, Tambon Bueng Kham Phroi, Amphoe Lam Luk Ka, Pathum Thani Province, and belongs to the Maha Nikaya monastic sect. The temple grounds cover a total area of 124 rai, 1 ngan, and 62 square wah, consisting of 22 rai, 1 ngan, and 62 square wah for the temple area proper, and 102 rai of monastic property (thorani song). The temple features a prominent, large Buddha statue situated right along Lam Luk Ka Road. The current abbot is Phra Khru Wibun Phatthanakhun.

24. Wat Phuet Udom

(Wat Phuet Udom) is a rat-sangkat Buddhist temple belonging to the Maha Nikaya sect, located in Moo 9, Ban Somboon Phatthana (Phuet Udom), Tambon Phuet Udom, Amphoe Lam Luk Ka, Pathum Thani Province. Wat Phuet Udom was established around 1874 and was originally named Wat Rat Sattharam, after Mr. Saeng Eaowattana donated 12 rai, 2 ngan, and 17 square wah of land to build the temple, with Mr. Heng Eaowattana, Mrs. Chaem Kesonbua, Mr. Yot, and Mrs. Thiang Yodphet jointly contributing funds to sponsor the construction of its first hardwood ubosot (ordination hall).

25. Wat Krang

 (Wat Krang) is a rat-sangkat Buddhist temple belonging to the Maha Nikaya sect, located in Moo 1, Ban Thai Dong, Tambon Bang Krabue, Amphoe Sam Khok, Pathum Thani Province. Wat Krang was established around 1757 and was originally named Wat Dong Dara. It received Wisung Kham Sima (royal land demarcation for a temple) on April 13, 1777, with a designated area 12 meters wide and 24 meters long, and performed its formal boundary consecration (phatthasima) around 1880. Local residents contributed land and funds, subsequently seeking permission from the Department of Religious Affairs to establish it as a temple, though the original founder remains unknown.

26. Thung Na Mon Ban Bo Thong

(Thung Na Mon Ban Bo Thong) stems from the dedication of Aunt Toy, Thanchira At-udomrat, who wanted tourists to learn about the simple lifestyle and charm of the Mon people. She developed her own land into a community tourist attraction and a sufficiency economy learning center across a 13-rai area divided into several zones. The highlight is the rice field featuring a wooden bridge stretching out into the middle of the field for visitors to walk, take photos, and enjoy the chill atmosphere, along with bamboo pavilions to rest. In addition, there are many interesting activities, such as visiting the melon greenhouse, vegetable plots, and heavenly chicken breeding area, rowing boats to tour the mango and coconut orchards, pedaling duck boats, and renting traditional Mon costumes for 50 baht per set to take photos at various spots. For hungry visitors, there are several restaurants available on-site with a very great location.

29. Lotus Museum, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi

(Lotus Museum, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi) was created as a project under the royal initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. It joined the Plant Genetic Conservation Project under the Royal Initiative in 2003 to conduct surveys, collect lotus varieties, cultivate and preserve them, study their utilization, and foster awareness for lotus conservation, starting with an initial collection of just 40 varieties.
